What's working?
  • Telephony (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
  • WiFi (+ Hotsort)
  • Bluetooth
  • NFC
  • GPS
  • Fingerprint
  • Camera, including 4K & 120fps-recording, but still no 60 fps :(
  • 2D/3D-graphics + Vulkan
  • Location
  • And probably everything not listed in the bug-list or related to one of these issues

Bugs and Problems...
  • Bluetooth call-audio not working
  • zero(f)ltespr: RIL not working/Modem not recognized

...and how to report them
  • ONLY SEND LOGCATS MADE WITH SYSLOG + ALL CATEGORIES CHECKED. ANY OTHER LOGS WILL BE IGNORED UNLESS REQUESTED
  • Take a logcat
  • Describe the problem as exact as possible
  • Send it here to to one of our Telegram groups (with higher possibility of direct dev-support)

Supported Devices
  • SM-G920F: Only permanently and completely supported device, because we don't own another one
  • Any other SM-G92[0/5]-device: May be supported, but I cant guarantee it. Please don't keep asking why we don't support your model, it's that simple: We don't own it, so how can we support it? Right, we can't. You can help us to fix issues, but we need a full set of logcats default ([adb] logcat -d) and radio ([adb] logcat -d -b radio)+ the kernel-log (/dev/kmsg). You may use different apps, but without those three files, we can't do much...
  • SM-G928x: Not supported, will probably never be

Possible Problems
  • Problem: Problems with modem like dropping/slow/slowly connecting data connections, missed calls/SMS
Solution: Try to update your device's baseband/modem to the latest available version. If there are still problems, report this bug to the developers

Hey @lukasb06 are you moving on now from Android 7.1, or will builds still continue? It looks like Samsung will never release Android O for the S6 so will a lack of bootloader/modem not hurt Android 8.0?

Great work :highfive:

No, N bootloader/modem work fine with Android O. I had to make some changes to the telephony-libraries, but it works fine, except the bugs Android has itself (like not showing the current operator although it has the name, it just doesn't show it)

And of course we'll continue publishing builds for N, at least once a month for the Monthly Security Updates

Nah I don't think that will be any problem since it's already fixed (ril works)

The brightness of the screen does not change.
No ability to turn on the screen after turning it off. Only reset helps.
No vibration.
The back button and menu does not work.
After dialing the number, the AOSP hangs.

You have to flash edge version or edge kernel else it won't work

Sorry for the delays guys, but I think you guys want to have a stable, smooth and battery-friendly ROM, not one with random reboots, battery drain etc. ^^

Build is currently being built, it will take something around 1 1/2 hours for it to complete and upload

Changelog for build from 2017-09-23 08:00
    • Updated to latest LineageOS/AOSP-sources
    • Refactored Kernel: Better performance, longer-lasting battery, less bugs in general

    • Confirmed: GApps, no matter how they are flashed, are causing the random freezes, so continue on your own risk

Deprecating Android Oreo for Samsung Galaxy S6

As of right now, I officially deprecate all Android Oreo builds and sources and only publish Android P+ builds anymore.

Of course you can further build Android Oreo-builds yourself using our sources, but they won't receive any further feature-updates or bugfixes.

If you notice an extremely serious and unfixed vulnerability, feel free to contact my about that, but such things only!

Also feel free to post further help to users which don't want to switch to P yet, as there are still some more-or-less annoying bugs
